All that being said, we, with a heavy heart, announce that we need to pull the plug on DEFY as two deflationary tokens in one ecosystem just can’t sustain. This makes even the team emotional to put into words but to BUIDL further and smarter, more advanced ecosystem, we need to focus on one project.
However, as a DEFY holder, what do you lose by this?
The answer is a big NOTHING.

1. You can swap DEFY into DFY without losing any fund. If you send us DEFY worth 100 USDC, you get DFY worth 100 USDC.

2. Those who swap DEFY in DFY will be able to stake those DFY to earn USDC. If you remember, we promised USDC reward for DEFY holders. It’s time that we deliver it.

What happens to the existing DEFY (FTM) farms?
Once the swap is announced, the existing DEFY farms will be removed within 72 hours. Don’t fret, they will just move to the ‘Inactive farms’ section and you can safely remove your liquidity.
What happens if you haven’t swapped DEFY into FTM chain at all?
DEFY (BSC) will continue to work as is but no further development will be done there. We strongly recommend you into moving to FTM chain and use DFY.
Can I still swap DEFY (BSC) into DEFY (FTM)?
For now, yes, you can. However, this swap will be taken off on 19th March, 2022 19/03/2022 at 12:00 GMT.
Once this swap is taken off, you need to sell your DEFY (BSC) and purchase DFY on FTM. You can, technically, buy DEFY (FTM) as well and then swap into DFY.
While this makes us immensely nostalgic, we must move forward to build better products. This move is a definite step towards that as many exciting announcements for DFY holders will come during the month of March’22.
